To Our Valued Stylists, Clients, and Friends:
As our communities continue to struggle with the increased impact of the Coronavirus, we feel it is important for us to share with you what we are doing keep all of you safe and healthy. After careful consultation with experts from the CDC and local public health officials, we have implemented emergency protocols to ensure the necessary steps to fully protect the health and safety of our customers and team members.
We are fortunate that we currently have no reported team member or customer cases, so our online sites, manufacturing facilities and storefront remain open for business. At this time, we feel confident we can continue to operate our normal business hours and will immediately provide updates if that changes.
In addition, we wanted to let you know about additional precautions/actions that we have implemented in response to COVID-19:
• First of all, we are committed to supporting our clients and staff. In addition to providing additional hand sanitizer, Chasticide, sanitation protocols, and emergency procedures, our employees have been encouraged to stay home if they are sick and we are granting an additional two weeks of paid time-off to any employee testing positive for the COVID-19 in order to make sure they have every opportunity to seek medical attention/recover.
• In both our lab, and also our distribution center, we have implemented a strict cleaning/sanitation schedule to routinely clean our store, warehouse, and manufacturing facility. These scheduled cleanings use a CDC-approved disinfectant with additional care taken to clean high traffic areas, restrooms, and waiting areas.
• I am regularly meeting with our company’s “Crisis Management Team” to monitor and review the COVID-19 situation.
• We have suspended all international travel by team members and are taking care to quarantine all of our imported goods until they can be sanitized per CDC guidelines.
This situation is a serious matter, one that requires everyone to stay calm and use sound judgment as work together to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. Individual caution and good hygiene habits are the most important actions anyone can take… and it is our goal to help every team member, client, and friend get through this difficult time any way we can.
